You know when you must have just "a little table" to catch a book and/or your favorite adult beverage? Well, the guys at MDS (Monday Design Studio) LOVE this one. Called the V Table, the spiraling base of the piece offers a varying look depending on your point of view. The ebonized black top (shown here) is supported by a sculptural. hand-forged iron base in a gilded finish. Do you need to "must have" this table, too?

If you think "dinette set" means a table with four matching chairs all in chrome, vinyl and glass, think again! Contemporary dinette sets are being offered in more varied, luxurious finishes, like this pedestal table and matching chairs in walnut veneer. Chic and sophisticated, this set offers high style at a moderate price. Let the Monday Design Studio team free you from a humdrum dinette set. Call Tim or Martin at 216-561-1660.
No no no - no mundane bookshelves in your space when you can have a wall-filling, eye-catching beauty like this one! Inspired by a Mid-Century classic, this wall unit features the classy design elements of the ‘50s in a more conservative way for today's modern interiors. Maximize storage in small rooms by utilizing valuable wall space. Fourteen full-sized shelves means plenty of space for the really cool stuff you want everyone to know you have while two closing cabinets makes it easy to hide personal items away. Offered in five (5) finishes, this awesome unit is 144"W x 18"D x 72"H. Get in touch with Tim or Martin at Monday Design Studio and let them help you place this system (or another!) in your space: 216-561-1660.
Monday Design Studio definitely enjoys moments when the worlds of fashion and interior design intersect - a very recent example is the capsule collection by noted fashion designer Alexander Wang created for venerable furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau. That said, an $8,800 leather bean bag chair? Hmmmmm....
Conceived by visionary interior designer Barry Dixon, this unique table combines historical motifs with a modern silhouette. A trio of serpentine cast aluminum legs are finished in natural black and gracefully curve to support the solid wood top. The waxed finish on the Sheesham wood highlights the exposed ring detail and provides an interesting contrast to the serpent legs. The table is 21" H x 24" x 24" - contact Monday Design Studio to find out how this table can grace your interior.
No denying it, Monday Design Studio favors Mid-Century style, but not all "stuffy and museum-like." We like to update MCM (Mid-Century Modern) for today's interiors. Our staff is currently enamored with this lounge chair, purely Mid-Century style, imparting a taste of 1950s and 1960s glam to your home. Offered in five wood finishes, eighteen leathers, ninety-two (92!) standard fabrics OR COM or COL, this chair is pretty dang amazing. Let Tim and Martin help you decide what fabric and finish works best in YOUR interior. Call them at 216-561-1660.
Its sharp, modern lines and chromed steel legs make the Adele Sectional Sofa a stunner. Sizable and spacious, this sofa is perfect for making a statement in a large room. The design team at Monday Design Studio especially loves the adjustable locking headrests on Adele (everywhere but in the corner, darn it!) This two piece sectional comes in the twill fabric shown and is surprisingly affordable. A generous 116.5" W x 89" D x 29.5" H, Adele may be perfect for you - let Monday Design Studio help you decide! Give the guys a call at 216-561-1660 and let's get 2015 off to a great design start!
Good golly - this time of year, who couldn't use a good recliner? Monday Design Studio likes this one - the chic, carbon-colored vegan leather, clean lines and intricate stitch detailing make it a star. Perfect as a living room chair, den chair, club chair, or accent chair, versatility is the name of the game. For more info on this motion chair, or help in selecting any furniture for your home, please contact the guys at Monday Design Studio. Ho ho ho - BTW, this would make a most excellent Christmas gift!
Fashion follows interior design trends - or is it the other way around? Regardless, home interior products often mirror details being highlighted on designer runways. Current case in point? Cut-outs and "transparency" in home accessories and lighting. Just as fashion designers add sheer panels and cut-outs to give a lightness to clothing, Monday Design Studio is noticing a similar trend in current home furnishing offerings - like this amazing "scribble" pendant lamp and this open-frame side table. The team at MDS loves these; let us use them (or similar) products on YOUR project. For info on the lamp or table shown, contact Monday Design Group. THX!
The prolific and revered design duo of Charles and Ray Eames produced many of Mid-Century Modern's design "icons." Here are their classic Wire Chair frames, overlapping to crate a fantastic composition. For the designers, what mattered most was the integrity of the form, function and context - or as Charles often said, "The best for the most for the least." The Monday Design Studio team are inspired ny pieces such as this, and often use simple, classic pieces such as the Wire Chair in their design projects.
