With its undeniable presence and incredible energy, the Guernica Lounge Chair by Laura Kirar for McGuire is not to be ignored. Like its artful counterpart, this chair is more complicated than it appears: the engineering is intricate and requires hand-craftsmanship that takes several weeks to complete by a single person, yet the result feels effortless and primitive. It requires 3,500 holes to be carefully placed through the honeycomb caning, then the artisan uses a custom-made needle to place and knot the contrasting smooth and textured leather laces of varying lengths to create the fringe. Available in black or brown (shown) leather fringe; cushions and inside back are custom with COM. Contact Monday Design Studio for more details on this statement piece (images courtesy McGuire).

Monday Design Studio believes design should be fun and joyful - as displayed here with this "mismatched" dinette set. Classic Eames' "Eiffel Chairs" have been updated in fresh, new colors. No longer stodgy old "Mid-Century icons," these chairs are fun. Life is too short to worry about "matching" all the time - c'mon, loosen up a bit and live a little! All items shown available thru Monday Design Studio; give us a call for more details.
Why choose "mundane, utilitarian" pieces when there are so many fantastic, artistic pieces available? Look at these three items - a "pendant light" (more like art), a "chair" (who wouldn't feel glamorous sitting in this tufted beauty?) and a "side table" (formed from a single sheet of tempered glass). These high-style pieces are not all high ticket items, either... Get in touch with Monday Design Studio and let us help you create a chic interior for YOUR home.
"Entertaining by Design" is always a fabulous event at The Ohio Design Centre in Beachwood. Monday Design Studio respects and admires all the designers participating.
Is there ANYTHING more delicious than Red Velvet Cake? Yup, this tufted red velvet chair. Monday Design Studio loves statement pieces and this chair - in "Jungle Red" - definitely makes a statement! Let Tim or Martin help you decide where to put this stunner in your interior (and, no worries about lots of extra calories from cream cheese frosting with this one!) Available thru Monday Design Studio; please contact us for dimensions and pricing.

At Monday Design Studio, our design team is always intrigued by furniture that can do "double duty" - to transform, if you will. Check out the Flex Two-Seat Sofa. This steel frame piece is a sofa, a tete-a-tete AND a bed. The twin seats swivel 360 degrees, with part of the frame acting as a coffee table. With two-position adjustable backs, the seats operate independently of one another, making Flex very versatile. Available in lipstick (shown) or off white, this is one smart piece of furniture. Contact Tim or Martin at Monday Design Studio for info on Flex.
Monday Design Studio is infatuated with the Zoila Console, The oak plank top comes in seared (a dark, greige-y color) or natural (shown here), and the top is supported by an intricate truss design of raw steel legs. The combination of natural and machined materials is perfection! Zoila is 59.25" L x 17.75" D x 31.5" h. Interested? Contact Monday Design Studio to discover how you can obtain your very own Zoila Console.
Without a doubt one of the most stunning contemporary items we have ever come across, the Monday Design Studio team is C-R-A-Z-Y for the Viva Buffet. The entire case is made from seared French oak (the stunning variations in wood tones will vary from piece to piece). Every Viva is unique. Know what else is unique? The raw steel "slivers" that punctuate the cabinet doors, combining industrial chic with the warm "woodiness" of French oak. Definitely an eye-catcher, this case is offered two sizes: 63" or 78.75". Contact the Monday Design Studio team to find out how you can own one of these awesome cabinets.
