The Benjamin Moore Hue Awards recognizes the exceptional use of color in architecture and interior design. See Commercial Interior award winner, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, share his thoughts here (the video is delicious, darling).
Talk about a "seasonally-appropriate" accessory, this life-size human skull is cast in aluminum then finished in polished nickel. One of the hottest trends (skulls) in recent years, display this piece on a cocktail table or maybe a stack of books? Alas, poor Yorick, Monday Design Studio is CRAZY for you! Contact Tim or Martin at MDS to find out how you can acquire of of these beauties for yourself.
These bold, graphic all-cotton pillows from designer Florence Broadhurst are a sure-fire way to introduce color and pattern into your space. As they say, "A room isn't done till all the pillows have been fluffed!" Monday Design Studio agrees; please contact us for more info on these super-cute pillows.
Just ONE of the many reasons to use an interior designer is access to amazing and unique products, like these porcelain tiles by Deborah Osburn. Textile and tile design come together in Osburn's new collection with clé. Inspired by Japanese textile dying techniques, each unglazed porcelain tile is dipped into indigo to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Appropriately named Watermark, these handmade tiles have a dreamy effect. Do you like them as much as Monday Design Studio does? Thanks to Robert Allen for the original post/image.
We were just having this discussion in the office today. The staff at Monday Design Studio LOVES design - sometimes we feel guilty getting paid to do it (sometimes, but not often, LOL!) BTW - that molded chaise by Charles Eames? Divine! Accessories "make" a space. Here is a trio of gunmetal gloss ceramic vases Tim and Martin of Monday Design Studio adore - how about you? Would you like to see these graceful vases in your home? Contact Monday Design Studio and let's find these three a good home.
