You know when you must have just "a little table" to catch a book and/or your favorite adult beverage? Well, the guys at MDS (Monday Design Studio) LOVE this one. Called the V Table, the spiraling base of the piece offers a varying look depending on your point of view. The ebonized black top (shown here) is supported by a sculptural. hand-forged iron base in a gilded finish. Do you need to "must have" this table, too?

The term “brutalism” was coined in the 1950's when architects were working with concrete and steel, creating blocky building designs.
